Hummingbird Movie

Summer, Nature, Video

I guess the hummingbirds must be most active at the end of the Summer because they’ve been going crazy lately. We have a feeder suctioned to our kitchen window, so we’re seeing them all the time now. I guess you could say that our nectar brings all the birds to the yard. The other day when I got off of work (er, left the office for the day) there were two hummingbirds buzzing all over the place. I grabbed my camera and took this video. I thought Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumble Bee would make great background music for the video. This rendition was performed by the Mallet Ensemble at the UCF Percussion Studio. Go Knights! Sorry for the shaky hands. :)

(If you can’t see the video, you may need to download Quicktime.)
